More than 100 000 lifts Gen2 are sold all over the world. This revolutionary system has proved its exceptional reliability and efficiency in practice. Instead of traditional hawsers, armored polyurethane belt is used in Gen2. Having only 3 mm thickness, belt is considerably firm in comparison with hawser, and is used three times more. Besides a belt doesn’t require lubrication, allows to economize electricity and considerably improve lift ride comfort, reduce noise and vibration. Intrinsically Otis has invented lift one more time.
Gen2 winch sizes are 3 times less thanks to flexible belt using. It allows to place the winch in a lift shaft and manage without engineering and utility services room. It economizes usable area of a building considerably and gives free play to architects and designers.
